Notes: Alder Creek Grove, also known as Hossack Grove, Pixley Grove, and Ross Creek Grove, is located beside South Alder Creek in the southern portion (Western Divide Ranger District) of Giant Sequoia National Monument.
Alder Creek Grove includes the redwood with the largest ground perimeter and horizontal axis (Waterfall), 1 of the 10 largest trees on Earth (Stagg and 2 of the 20 largest giant redwoods (Alder Creek Giant and Stagg). The grove contains 2 trees larger than 35,000 ft3 (991 m3) and 1 tree larger than 40,000 ft3 (1,133 m3).
Stagg is the largest tree in Alder Creek Grove.
