Notes: Before the 2021 Windy Fire, Red Hill Giant was the world's 30th largest tree, the 27th largest giant redwood, the 7th largest tree in Giant Sequoia National Monument, and the largest tree in Red Hill Grove. The crown contained more than one-and-a-half billion leaves and fifty-one thousand cones. The trunk lost significant height and volume after it burned, and, pending updated volume estimates, Red Hill Giant likely no longer ranks among the 30 largest giant redwoods.

Red Hill Giant appears in the The Save the Redwoods League film Red Hill. Freelance photographer Paolo Vescia photographed Cal Poly Humboldt forestry professor Stephen C. Sillett climbing Red Hill Giant.
